September's Stone of the Month
Snowflake Obsidian is a stone of balance, working in the yin/yang energies of the emotional body. This stone can help to dispel the negativity from our person or from our personal space with ease, tapping into the emotional side. It is one of the gentler stones of the Obsidian family when it comes to working through our emotional ties to our physical past or our karmic past; it is a bit less "sledge hammer" and more "nerf bat" like when helping us to face our emotional road blocks.
Snowflake Obsidian is a stone that can be used for grounding and can be used for the root chakra; it balances the mind, body and spirit connections. It is an excellent stone to use in meditations because it promotes focus and surrender.
As a stone in our wellness toolbox, Snowflake Obsidian has the ability to remind us to find the beauty in the now, the all that is, and the divine design of chaotic perfection. As a stone for contemplation it aids us with the realization that the spiderweb of synchronicity is all around us, as well as within us. Is the obsidian less obsidian because of the crystalline structure of the snowflake or is it more when we allow for the integration of the cosmically chosen pairing? Why would we criticize ourselves for the same perfect imperfections?
